| Introduction | methyl phenoxyacetate, English name methylphenoxyacetate,CAS No. 2065-23-8, molecular formula C9H10O3. Colorless to yellowish liquid at temperatures ≥ 30 °c; White solid at <30 °c. Phenoxyacetic acid methyl ester can be used as a disinfectant or pharmaceutical intermediates or pesticide intermediates, the world's annual consumption of about 3000 tons. The product is stable, high flash point, non-toxic, can be stored and transported. |
| preparation | preparation method of methyl phenoxyacetate: using atmospheric pressure liquid-solid phase esterification reaction, aluminophosphate molecular sieve as catalyst, the preparation was completed by the following steps: 1) in a three-necked flask, 400g of methanol, 500g of phenoxyacetic acid, and 2.5-9.5g of aluminophosphate molecular sieve as catalyst were sequentially dropped, toluene or cyclohexane 700g; 2) heating reaction, reflux, dehydration, recovery of methanol and part of cyclohexane; 3) reaction is finished, filtered aluminum phosphate; 4) the water-jet vacuum pump is distilled under reduced pressure to recover cyclohexane and remove the head; 5) the slide valve vacuum pump evaporates methyl phenoxyacetate with a content of> 99.0% and a weight of about 470g. |
